last saturday, perths city skyline was a towering backdrop for waso's (western australia symphony orchestra) koncert in the park. waso is a world klass orchestra. you kud hear & feel the konfidence in the delivery of every piece. i was gob smacked!! to top it off, waso kollaborated alongside their amazing choir, the australian army reserve artillery & the swan bell tower. i packed a piknik basket & made a night of it. ahhh.... fabulous.

TCHAIKOVSKY 1812 overture *used in v for vendetta rooftop fireworks scene.
i almost broke into tears when they performed tchaikivsky's 1812 overture for the finale. i imagined V FOR VENDETTA!!!!! the swan bells were ringing & the cannons of the 7th field battery went off with the loudest explosion!!!! it was insane!!! i dunt know much about klassikal musik. so my playlist kud be wrong. but the video will be made available on webkast from tomorrow arvo. ketch it here. my apologies for any mistakes.
