while England was swept by an arctic snap.... Australia was hit by a terrible heat wave. South Australia & Victoria are the worst hit. these fotos were sent by a fren: a little koala walked into their back porch in Maude looking for a bit of heat relief. the kind folks then filled their buckets with kold water & voila!!!! instant koala spa!! isnt this the most precious sight you've seen in awhile????



there has been 37 heat wave related deaths so far. 28 homes destroyed by fire. imagine the unaccounted family pets & farm animals that mightve perished in this unforgiving extreme weather?? but Aussies are a resilient bunch. me mates back home are kracking heat wave jokes & koming up with strange ideas to keep kool (keeping klothes in the freezer, sleeping with frozen ice packs & my personal fave: spritzing themselves with icy kold water). haHahaAHA!! fully sick mate. fully sick.
